The Publications Committee of The Law Society of Singapore is pleased to present this seminar. The seminar focuses on the typical legal opinions (commonly called "closing opinions") which a law firm may berequested to issue in connection with a multi-party cross-border bank-financed project with a Singapore nexus.  The first part of the seminar will explore the context in which such legal opinions are usually required,that is, the seminar will look at an example of a transaction structure in amulti-party cross-border bank-financed project, and the various legal opinions that would be required in such a transaction structure.

The second part of the seminar will discuss on the substantive content of such legal opinions, which may also be required in larger domestic financing transactions.
