ABOUT THIS SEMINAR

The Law Society of Singapore is proud to present “Seminar on Competition Law”. This seminar targets practitioners and in-house counsel who seek an introductory course to competition law.

This seminar provides an overview of the key prohibitions of the Competition Act (Chapter 50B) and how procedurally it is enforced by the Competition Commission of Singapore (“CCS”). Relevant topical issues will be discussed by experienced competition practitioners on areas such as dawn raids, applying for leniency, compliance programs and what to consider when filing a merger with CCS. 

Learning Outcome

Attendees will gain an insight into the following areas:

  • An overview of competition law in Singapore
  • CCS’s approach to enforcing the Competition Act;
  • A practitioner’s perspective on how to advise clients on the Competition Act.
