ABOUT THIS SEMINAR
Today’s law firms are experiencing a new breed of lawyers — tech-savvy, mobile, and with new expectations of how information should be available, delivered and managed. The proliferation of mobile devices puts pressure on firms to find new ways of working and using technology to improve productivity and client service.
But as cloud technology gains fast traction, legal organisations still remain cautious over data sovereignty and data privacy. While there is no sure-fire way of knowing whether staff members are emailing sensitive corporate documents via their personal accounts or storing them in Dropbox for mobile access, firms are at a greater risk of confidential data leakage if this issue is unaddressed.
This seminar seeks to challenge the misconceptions and highlight the benefits of cloud and mobility solutions in bringing innovation and improvements in the way law firms deliver legal services to their clients. The seminar also highlights the changing nature of how people interact with technology and the opportunities and challenges it presents to legal practices. In addition, it provides expert tips on how to best mitigate risks.
